Overview
The CAIMEN Aluminum Electric Swing Gate is an automated aluminum swing gate made for the opening you actually have, not a catalog size. It's cut from high-strength aluminum alloy. You decide the leaf count, which way it opens, the infill and the finish. Homes, business entrances and factory gates all use it. CAIMEN is a Shenzhen-based manufacturer of gates and access control equipment, founded in 2013, supplying aluminum swing gates to distributors, installers and project buyers worldwide.
Buyers tend to ask about the metal first, so here's the answer. Every batch of aluminum profiles is accompanied by an inspection report from an authoritative third-party agency. No taking the alloy on trust. On top sits AkzoNobel Interpon fluorocarbon powder coating, and that coating has passed Florida weatherability testing.
Key features
Light leaves, less strain on the hardware
Strength for its weight is where aluminum alloy wins. Your hinges, posts and operator carry less, so fairly large custom leaves stay practical. And a lighter leaf means less risk of sag after years on the post.
Third-party profile inspection reports
Each batch of profiles is accompanied by an inspection report from an authoritative third-party agency. Ask for it with your order. If a consultant or owner's rep wants material traceability on file, that's the paper they'll look for.
A weather-tested powder coating
We finish the surface in AkzoNobel Interpon fluorocarbon powder coating, chosen for weather, UV and corrosion resistance. Be clear on one point. The Florida test covers the powder coating, not the complete gate. Want to compare coating grades? They're on our coatings page.
Design options that change the whole look
Most of the gate is yours to specify:
- Opening direction
- Gate width and height
- Single-leaf or double-leaf opening
- Frame and infill panel design
- Solid, slatted, hollow or decorative patterns
- Standard or custom colors, wood-effect finish included
- Decorative trims and accessories
Controls for how your site really works
We size the operator to leaf dimensions, leaf weight and how often the gate cycles. On the control side you can pick from remote control, push button, keypad, RFID card reader, video intercom and smartphone control. A vehicle loop detector works too, as does license plate recognition.
Safety devices, chosen per site
Accessories on offer: infrared photocells, safety edges, a flashing warning light, obstacle detection, an emergency stop and a manual release for power failure. What you end up with depends on the gate's size and weight, how often it opens, and the installation rules where you are.
Where it fits
A swing gate needs clear ground for its arc. Got that space? Then it's often the simplest automated entrance to run. Where it usually fits:
- Private homes and villas, where a double-leaf gate with decorative or wood-effect infill frames the driveway.
- Office and retail entrances after a clean slatted or solid look in a brand color.
- Factory and warehouse gates, paired with a loop detector or LPR so trucks don't sit waiting at a keypad.
- Coastal or humid sites, since coated aluminum needs less routine rust treatment than untreated conventional steel.
If swing space is tight, or the drive slopes up behind the gate, look at a sliding or folding design instead. The material side of that decision is in our note on aluminum vs steel gates.
How to specify it
Swing gates hurt people when the safety side gets skipped. DASMA's gate safety brochure makes the point, and so does SecurityInfoWatch's piece on gate safety: anywhere a person could get caught between a moving leaf and something fixed, you need entrapment protection, photo eyes or contact edges for instance. In the US, inspectors usually look to UL 325 for operators and ASTM F2200 for gate construction. Check with your installer on what your own jurisdiction asks for.
For a quote, send us:
- The clear opening width, plus how tall you want the gate
- One leaf or two, opening inward or outward
- Any ground slope inside the swing arc, and what the posts or pillars are made of
- Infill style and color (a RAL code is fine, so is a photo)
- Roughly how many cycles a day, and who goes through: cars, trucks, people on foot
- The access controls and safety devices you want
- What power is available at the gate
| Site question | What it changes |
|---|---|
| Wide opening, lots of traffic | Double leaf, operator sized for frequent cycling |
| Unattended entrance | Photocells, safety edges and a warning light as a baseline |
| Fleet or truck access | Loop detector or LPR instead of handheld remotes |
| Power cuts are common | Manual release planned into the layout |
Nothing gets built until you've seen a drawing. Once you approve it, production typically takes 15 to 20 days. Odd shapes or one-offs? Start with custom aluminum gates, then reach us through the contact page or at [email protected].

CAIMEN Aluminum Electric Swing Gate questions
Does the aluminum swing gate come with material test documents?
Yes. Each batch of aluminum profiles is accompanied by an inspection report from an authoritative third-party agency, so just ask for it when you order. Keep in mind it covers the profiles. File it with the coating details.
Can I get a single-leaf gate instead of a double?
Sure. Both single-leaf and double-leaf versions are available, and you also set the opening direction, width and height. On a narrow drive, one leaf keeps the hardware simple. Wider opening? Split it in two. Each leaf then swings a shorter arc and puts less load on its hinges and post.
What happens to the gate during a power cut?
You can open the leaves by hand, provided you've chosen the manual release for power failure, one of the available safety options. Decide where it goes at the design stage. Whoever needs it shouldn't have to climb the gate or stand inside the swing arc to reach it.
Is the gate certified to UL 325?
No, we don't claim UL 325 certification for this gate. Operator and safety devices are picked per project, based on gate size, weight, opening frequency and local installation requirements. Send us your local code requirements early. Your installer should then confirm compliance on site.
