Telescopic sliding gate, fully assembled with no welding
Fully assembled aluminum telescopic gates that stack compactly and span wide openings.

Chosen for national landmarks
CAIMEN telescopic gates serve Tiananmen Square, the Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube. Our engineers invented the fully assembled aluminum telescopic gate, which solved the problem of broken cables inside the sections.
Sections are linked by an integrated stainless steel cable guide bracket, run on dual-wheel chassis with floating support rollers, and are held against wind by 304 stainless steel hooks.

Overview
The CAIMEN Telescopic Sliding Gate is a complete automatic gate set built from high-grade aluminum alloy, cast and precision-extruded, then put together without a single weld. That last part is the whole story. CAIMEN developed the fully assembled aluminum telescopic gate to fix a problem older designs kept running into: cables breaking as the sections stretched and folded thousands of times. CAIMEN is a Shenzhen-based manufacturer of gates and access control equipment, founded in 2013, supplying telescopic sliding gates to distributors, installers and project buyers worldwide.
It's the same gate family installed at Tiananmen Square, the Beijing National Stadium (the Bird's Nest) and the National Aquatics Center (the Water Cube). You can see those sites on our projects page. For a buyer, the point isn't prestige. It's that the design has already handled crowds, wide spans and a humid pool hall.
Gate lengths run up to 20 m and heights up to 1.6 m, split across 2 to 6 sections, with size and color made to order.
Key features
Bolt-together aluminum body
Every section is modular. There's no welding, so there are no weld seams to rust and no heat-warped frames. Load spreads evenly, the frame resists wind and deformation, and if a truck clips one panel your crew unbolts it and swaps it. The frame panels are 4 mm thick and finished in fluorocarbon powder coating, standard color CM-01 Gray.
Cables that don't wear through
An integrated stainless steel cable guide bracket keeps the wiring moving in a straight line with the sections. No rubbing, no frayed insulation, no electrical leakage. On a telescopic gate, this matters more than the finish color.
Upper linear guidance
Interlocking guides run along the top. Rollers on both sides carry stainless steel bearings, so the gate can't drift or tilt as it travels.
A chassis that corrects itself
Support rollers, traveling wheels and anti-wind parts link every section mechanically into a closed loop. If one section starts to wander, the others pull it back. A dual-side, dual-wheel drive chassis balances the load, and floating support rollers ride over uneven paving instead of fighting it.
304 stainless anti-wind hooks
Each hook holds four stainless steel bearings and locks onto the track while following the gate. Strong gusts? The gate stays on the rail and doesn't rattle.
Layered safety options
Motor thermal protection, soft drive, manual clutch, emergency stop, a scrolling display and radio remote come standard. You can add a front-end safety airbag that triggers rebound on contact, mechanical anti-pinch bars on both sides, anti-climbing teeth, voice prompts and infrared gantries. Each gantry carries three pairs of infrared sensors: the low ones watch for collisions, the high ones for climbers.
Where it fits
The old rule still holds. A telescopic gate fits where the opening is wide, the side space is short and you can't run a long rail or tail. Our guide to telescopic sliding gates for wide openings walks through that math.
- Government and public buildings: crowd-control points like the Tiananmen Square installs, where low noise and durability count. See government and public buildings.
- Stadiums and venues: multiple entrances and exits, wide spans, fast response, as at the Bird's Nest.
- Factories and depots: say a yard where trailers swing in forty times a shift. The floating rollers and self-correcting chassis earn their keep there. More on factory and logistics entrances.
- Courtyards, villas and residential estates: a clean aluminum front that folds into a small pocket beside the driveway.
- Humid or coastal sites: the Water Cube install called for corrosion-resistant materials, which aluminum and 304 stainless handle well.
How to specify it
Start with the opening. Measure clear width, the space you have beside it for the stacked sections, and the height you need (up to 1.6 m standard). Then decide which safety options your site really needs. Public sidewalks and kids? Add the airbag and infrared gantries. In the US, automatic gates are generally expected to meet UL 325 and ASTM F2200; DoorKing's UL 325 summary and DASMA's installer guide to ASTM F2200 both explain the entrapment-protection rules your installer will check.
| Site condition | What to specify |
|---|---|
| Heavy pedestrian flow | Safety airbag, anti-pinch bars, voice prompt |
| Perimeter security | Infrared gantries, anti-climbing teeth |
| Windy or exposed | Standard 304 anti-wind hooks, more sections for shorter spans |
| Uneven paving | Standard floating rollers; send level survey |

CAIMEN Telescopic Sliding Gate questions
Why is a welded-free telescopic gate better?
Welds are where rust starts and where frames warp from heat. A fully assembled aluminum body has neither problem, and a damaged section can be unbolted and replaced on site instead of cutting and rewelding. It also lets us keep the cable path straight, which is what stops the broken-wire failures older telescopic gates are known for.
How long and how tall can the gate be?
Gate lengths go up to 20 m and heights up to 1.6 m, split into 2 to 6 telescoping sections. Size and color are customizable. Send your clear opening and side clearance and we'll propose a section count in the CAD drawing before anything is built.
What safety features come standard?
Motor thermal protection, soft drive, manual clutch, emergency stop, a scrolling display screen and radio remote control are standard. The anti-collision airbag, anti-pinch protection, infrared alarm sensors, gantry structure, anti-climbing teeth and voice prompts are options you choose per site.
Will it handle strong wind?
The chassis uses dual-side, dual-wheel drive plus built-in wind-resistant parts that hold it tight to the track. The 304 stainless anti-wind hooks, each with four stainless bearings, lock onto the rail so the gate doesn't derail or vibrate in gusts. Very exposed sites should still share local wind conditions with us.
