Turn over gate for entrances with little floor space
A rotating gate that folds over itself, for entrances with very little floor space.

Space-saving rotation
The turn over gate rotates instead of sliding or swinging, so it needs little floor space around the opening. It can be automated with remotes, keypads and mobile apps, and includes anti-crush sensors and locking.

Overview
The CAIMEN Automatic Turn Over Gate is a rotating gate for entrances that are too tight for anything else. It doesn't swing out over your driveway. It doesn't slide along a wall either: the leaf turns and folds over itself, and that's why people buy it. CAIMEN is a Shenzhen-based manufacturer of gates and access control equipment, founded in 2013, supplying turn over gates to distributors, installers and project buyers worldwide.
Picture a villa driveway only a few meters deep. Or a side entrance with a planter on one side and the neighbor's wall on the other. You'd have to keep a full arc clear for a swing leaf, and a slider wants a clear run at least as long as the opening. This gate gets by on much less of both.
It's built in aluminum, with stainless steel and powder-coated steel parts. Automated or manual? Your call.
Key features
A turning leaf, not a swinging one
Because the leaf rotates and folds over itself as it opens, it needs far less floor space in front of and behind the gate line than a swing leaf. Our product documentation says the mechanism lets you set different opening capacities. Odd-shaped sites benefit most.
Aluminum profiles you can check
The cabinet is 6005-T5 aluminum. For the main frame and vertical bars we use 6063-T6, a common architectural extrusion alloy with a clean surface finish (the 6063 alloy reference covers it). Profile sizes sit in the table below, so your engineer can hold them up against other quotes line by line.
Two catalog models, leaf height 1.6 m
There are two current models, the TYFZ-2401 and TYFZ-2402. Both have a 1.6 m leaf height. We can adjust width, height, finish and color to suit your site.
Automated or manual
Match it to your traffic. Remote controls, keypads and mobile apps all work with the automated gate, while a back entrance you open twice a week is usually better off manual.
Safety and access control
On the automatic version you get anti-crush sensors and locking systems, and it can integrate with your access control system. Installing in the US? Ask your installer how the full setup will meet UL 325 entrapment protection rules, since those requirements have been revised several times. DASMA's piece on gate operators and UL 325 is older, but it's still a useful primer before you lock the design.
Weather-resistant materials
Outdoors, stainless steel, aluminum and powder-coated steel hold up well against corrosion and wear. Routine maintenance stays light. You'll find finish options on our coatings page.
Where it fits
Short on depth or side room? That's where this gate earns its place. A wide open lot usually does fine with a cantilever sliding gate, and a cramped one usually doesn't.
- Villas and private homes with short driveways. Say your garage door sits close to the property line. A swing gate could clip the car's bumper, while a turn over gate leaves much more of the apron free. Our villas and private estates page has related planning notes.
- Gated communities. Entrances squeezed between walls and landscaping, where you still want a modern look.
- Commercial properties and parking areas. Side doors and service entrances in places where every meter of curb is already taken.
- Industrial and high-security sites. Controlled entrances needing strict entry management that can't give up yard space to a swing arc.
Still unsure about the type? Look at our vertical pivot gate and bifolding gate too. They tackle the same space problem differently. You can also browse all gate products.
How to specify it
A fast, usable quote depends on the numbers you send. This is our list.
- Clear opening width and wall-to-wall dimensions. Include posts, pillars or steps already on site.
- Space in front of and behind the gate line. Measure this one carefully, because it's what makes a turn over gate the right pick.
- Gate height. Does the 1.6 m leaf of the TYFZ-2401 or TYFZ-2402 work, or do you need something else?
- Automated or manual. If automated, tell us which controls you want: remote, keypad or app.
- Finish and color. A RAL code is enough. So is a photo of the façade.
- Site photos. Shots from the street side and from inside both help.
| Your entrance | Gate type to look at first |
|---|---|
| Short driveway, little room in front or behind | Turn over gate |
| Long side wall with room for the leaf to park | Cantilever or villa sliding gate |
| Wide opening, no side room, no floor track wanted | Bifolding gate |
With your details in hand, we send CAD drawings and renderings. Nothing goes into production until you approve them, and production typically takes 15 to 20 days after that. We welcome OEM and ODM orders. Send your measurements through our contact page, or email [email protected].

CAIMEN Automatic Turn Over Gate questions
How much space does a turn over gate need?
Much less than a swing or sliding gate. The leaf rotates and folds over itself, so it doesn't sweep an arc or run along a side wall. Exact clearance depends on the gate size and model, though. Send us your opening width plus the depth in front of and behind the gate line, and we'll check it on the drawing.
What sizes are available?
Both of our models, the TYFZ-2401 and TYFZ-2402, have a 1.6 m leaf height. You can customize height, width, finish and color for your entrance. Every dimension is confirmed on CAD drawings before production, so you'll see the final size before anything gets built.
Can I get a manual version?
Yes. There's an automated version and a manual one. Automated gates work with remote controls, keypads and mobile apps, and they can connect to access control systems. Light or occasional traffic, like a service door you rarely use? Manual is fine there.
How long does production take?
Typically 15 to 20 days after you approve the drawings. Shipping time depends on where you are. We don't cut anything before sign-off, and that keeps surprises off your job site.
